This dam is notorious for producing healthy sized fish which is probably due to its abundance of weed. It takes skill to get a fly between the weed banks and generally one needs to use a boat or float tube. That said the spoils are worth the effort. The dam is located in an open area so is better reserved for a still day. Access is relatively easy and a 2 wheel drive will normally manage the farm track over the last 2km.
