A beaut of a rainbow caught during the festival
On the still waters, 72 rods landed 170 trout. This figure includes 145 trout caught during the festival by 58 anglers. The longest fish was an impressive 64cms, caught at Ringstead by a visitor.
A total of 295 trout were caught by festival entrants on club and district waters combined.
On the rivers, 8 rods produced 23 trout, the longest of which was 50cm at Upper Ericsberg by R. Pretorius.
