Wimples

This is a long stretch of the smaller Mzimude River which is a tributary of the Umzimkulu. The beat is relatively flat and meandering along it’s length with a few little rapids. The fish are smaller but the fishing style more technical as the water is shallow and clear. The beat is seldom fished as it is a bit further off the beaten track. A 4 wheel drive is required to drive down from the main road to the river.
