This section of river falls on the same farm as Palframans Dam and is immediately below The Grange. It is a long stretch of deep pools with few rapids and is divided into three beats, Upper, Middle and Lower. All the beats are easily accessible from the dirt road which is in good condition. Note that the beats constitute the North bank only.
