A nice rainbow trout from Lake Ringstead
Fishing seems to have taken a turn for the better with our still waters producing 141 fish from just 53 rods. This included a monster 3.9kg rainbow hen which was caught and released in Lake Ringstead. The water is of fair quality although levels are dropping.
Our river beats meanwhile produced 20 fish from 8 rods in very low levels. Some fine 50cm rainbows were caught and released on the lower beats. Unfortunately the rivers have been closed until the levels improve.
