Still waters produced 40 fish for 26 rods ranging from 1.6kg – 2.9kg.
Lake Ringstead, Turners Cottage and Finelands produced good fish 2.5- 2.9 kg which are two seasons old. Fish in the 1.8kg range are coming out and are growing well after only one season.
With the water temps rather high (17deg C at 3m), afternoon rain storms and a good weed growth, fishing has become rather difficult.
Rivers produced 8 fish for 10 rods despite tough conditions. The rains have continued to fall meaning the rivers have not always been an option.
