Sight fishing has produced good catches recently. The water is very clean with visibility of over 15m.
BLAIR ATHOL has had 2.5kg fish being seen from the dam wall.
FINELANDS produced a good 2.2kg cock fish. The weed bed is sitting on the bottom so area has opened up.
TURNERS COTTAGE was fished early in the morning producing a 2.8kg hen full of eggs which was stripped and released. A BROWN of 1kg was released showing good growth from the stocking of last AUGUST 2011
TRELEVANS 4 level of water down and discoloured. Nothing moving.
LAKE RINGSTEAD – Water on the murky side.
GRANGE produced a 2kg cock fish but fishing was extreme. Another 2kg fish came out during the last week.
Warmer conditions will certainly bring on the best of fishing.
