Our still waters saw just 46 rods which produced a total of 26 fish. As I mentioned earlier, conditions were very warm and measured in at 22 degrees Celcius at 3 meters. Weed growth has been heavy, but again this is the norm at this time of year.
Our river beats saw even less action with just 4 rods taking to the water, producing 9 fish. The Wimples Beat on the Mzimude River was especially productive, although the access road is not the best .
