Our still waters were fished by 121 rods which produced 100 fish in good waters. A fine number of 2.5 kg fish with excellent condition factors were the norm. A beautiful 3.4kg rainbow hen was caught and released in Lake Ringstead.
River beats were visited by 13 anglers with a good return of 27 fish. A fine cock fish of 1.2kg was taken on the Lower Section of the Mzimkhulu River.
Water temperatures have hit the 21 deg C at 3m, blending in with the numerous thunder and lightening storms. Hail storms have been wide spread causing severe damage.
