In the month of February, 16 rods produced 21 fish on the club’s still waters. The largest was a 2.5kg rainbow. There were no bookings on the river beats.

On the club’s still waters, 20 rods caught 16 trout, the heaviest of which was 5lbs at Turners Cottage. On the river beats, 1 rod landed no trout. Water temperatures of 22/23C were reported.
On the club’s still waters, 24 rods landed 66 trout, the heaviest of which was a 2.5kg rainbow at Lake Ringstead by I. Darling. On the rivers, 3 rods caught 3 trout, the longest of which was a 45cm beaut at Upper Ericsberg, landed by R. Pretorius.
The club’s still waters have been fishing well with 28 rods producing 73 trout, the longest of which was a 65cm rainbow trout from Finlands 1, caught by K. Nustad. The river fishing has been a little slower with 2 anglers producing 4 small fish.
It’s been a great month on the still waters with 30 rods landing 101 trout, the largest of which was a 68cm rainbow from Lake Ringstead, caught by M Brandis. On the still waters, 72 rods landed 170 trout. This figure includes 145 trout caught during the festival by 58 anglers. The longest fish was an impressive 64cms, caught at Ringstead by a visitor. In August, 23 rods landed 43 trout in the club’s still waters. The longest was a beautiful 54cm rainbow trout caught at Lake Ringstead by M. Brandis.

On the still waters, 32 rods landed 19 trout, the longest of which was a 66cm rainbow at Ringstead by N.van Rooyen. On the river beats, 12 rods caught 23 trout, longest of which was 12 inches.
On the still waters, 40 rods landed 84 trout, the longest of which was 59cm at Ringstead by M.Brandis. On the rivers, 15 rods caught 40 trout, the longest of which was a beaut 45cm at Watermead by J.Coetser.
