Trout Portrait
Our still waters produced 144 fish for 71 fishermen (and ladies), the majority of which were caught over the festival weekend. Water levels have shown a slight increase with fair temperatures.
With the river beats opening half way through the month, 17 rods produced 7 fish in the 550g-9oog range. A fine hen was taken on the Umzimkhulu River weighing in at 2kg.
We were pleased to have KZNFFA members on the river this past weekend.
