Stillwaters had a return of 59 fish for 35 rods and with the opening of the river beats on the 10th, a return of 21 fish for 33 rods was recorded. 60 mm of rain and a snowfall in the high Berg was just the answer.

A visit by Wildfly, guided by Wolf Avni, produced some good trout on the Upper Tretower section.

The KZNFFA trials were hosted on the same section of Tretower a week later but conditions were different.

Temps on the up at 14 deg C at a depth of 3m (in stillwaters).
