With the rivers finally open after the off season, 9 anglers took to the water to see whether conditions had improved after a tough previous season brought about by the drought. Between them they produced 7 fish, all in the 25cm range, which looks promising for the upcoming season.
The club’s still waters were heavily fished in September, primarily due to the Xplorer UHTFC Festival 2018. Ninety-four rods landed 434 trout, the heaviest of which was a 3kg rainbow from Goxhill.
